Surakarta, Indonesia — July 8, 2026. The Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), welcomed a benchmarking visit from the Biology Education Study Program, Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri (UNP Kediri) on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

The visit provided a platform for both institutions to exchange knowledge, discuss best practices, and explore strategies for strengthening the quality of Biology Education programs.

The discussion covered several key areas of study program management, including Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum implementation and evaluation, internal quality assurance, accreditation strategies, research and community service management, scientific publications, internationalization and academic partnerships, laboratory management, innovative learning, and academic administration.

Through the benchmarking activity, both institutions shared experiences and perspectives on how effective program management and continuous quality improvement can support the development of high-quality Biology Education programs.

The Biology Education Study Program, FKIP UNS, appreciates the visit from Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri and looks forward to further collaboration and knowledge exchange. The activity is expected to strengthen institutional networks and contribute to the continuous improvement of Biology teacher education in Indonesia.
