The BuzznColor Team, led by supervising lecturer Nurmiyati, S.Pd, M.Si., consists of seven dedicated students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at UNS. The team includes students majoring in Biology Education (Lutfia Gayuh Setianingrum, Findu Fahrunisa, Maratun Sholihah, Nasywa Khoirunnisa, Sapta Cahyani Dewi Pratiwi, Sefia Dewi Anggraeni) and Chemistry Education (Nurul Safitri). They proudly showcased their innovation at Wibawa UNS Demo Day 2025.

​BuzznColor is an eco-friendly crayon innovation offering a safe and sustainable coloring solution for children. These crayons are crafted from pure beeswax and natural pigments, embodying applied science with sustainability to ensure they are non-toxic, food-grade, and biodegradable. The product features six vibrant natural colors—red (beetroot), green (moringa leaves), yellow (turmeric), light blue (blue spirulina), dark blue (butterfly pea flower), and black (charcoal)—proving that bright, attractive colors can be achieved without synthetic chemical dyes.

​Thanks to its sustainability-based manufacturing approach, product safety, and strong innovation value, BuzznColor proudly received the Best Business Idea Award in the Manufacturing and Applied Technology Category at Wibawa UNS Demo Day 2025. This prestigious achievement underscores the project’s impact as a real solution in both the education sector and the child-friendly product market.
