Solo, April 15, 2023 – Department of Biology Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret has successfully held an expert lecture with the theme “Differentiated Learning in Biology for High School Students to Optimize Learning Styles and Academic Achievement”. The event was held on Friday, April 14, 2023, through Zoom Meeting, attended by more than 200 student participants.

The expert lecture, presented by Dr. Ely Djulia, M.Pd, a lecturer from the Science Education Department UNIMED Medan who is experienced and an expert in the field of learning, provided new understanding about differentiated learning methods, which are applied in the independent curriculum. The event was also moderated by Dr. Baskoro Adi Prayitno, M.Pd, a lecturer from the Department of Biology Education.

In this event, participants actively discussed and asked questions to the speaker about the materials presented, creating an interactive and enjoyable atmosphere. Participants were also given the opportunity to obtain a certificate as a form of appreciation for their participation in this event.

According to Dr. Muzzazinah, as the head of the Department, “We are very happy and grateful to be able to organize this event successfully, thanks to the speaker, moderator, and participants who actively participated in this event”.

With the success of this event, it is hoped that it can provide great benefits to participants in increasing understanding and knowledge about Differentiated Learning in Biology for High School Students to Optimize Learning Styles and Academic Achievement.
