The Grand Finale of SEMBIO 2025 Series

On Saturday, July 5th, 2025, the Biology Education Program of FKIP UNS successfully held the main event of SEMBIO XXI 2025, our annual National Seminar on Biology Education, carrying the theme:
💡 “Advancing Sustainable Development through Biology Education Integrated with Work, Research, and Community Engagement.”

📍 Venue: Aula Gedung F, FKIP UNS
⏰ Time: 07.30 AM until end

Participants had the opportunity to engage with esteemed speakers from national and international institutions:
🎙️ Keynote Speakers:
🔹 Eko Setyaningsih, S.Pd., M.Si. (MGMP Biologi Jateng / SMA N 5 Surakarta)
🔹 Prof. Kiyoyuki Ohshika (Aichi University of Education, Japan)
🔹 Prof. Dr. Bambang Retnoaji, S.Si., M.Sc. (Universitas Gadjah Mada)
🔹 Dr. Puguh Karyantó, Ph.D. (Universitas Sebelas Maret)

After the main session, a series of parallel presentations were held online via Zoom, providing space for research sharing and academic dialogue among student presenters and participants.

In addition to the academic agenda, SEMBIO XXI 2025 also featured a student-led UMKM bazaar!
Various booths filled the seminar venue with creativity, entrepreneurship, and flavors, showcasing the products and spirit of innovation from Biology Education students. From handmade crafts to delicious homemade snacks, the bazaar was a vibrant part of the day that added energy and engagement to the event.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all speakers, participants, presenters, student entrepreneurs, and the entire organizing committee for making SEMBIO XXI 2025 a meaningful and inspiring event.
